I would like to know how is the pricing calculated? I've requested mem2_ssd1_v2_x32 and I can see that the spot/hr has a cost of 0.2112 GBP. However my job has been running for 21hr and I'm getting charged 19 GPB so far. The math does not make sense
On a following note, How to differentiate i the swiss-army-knife to on demand vs spot machines? I think I'm being charged for on demand ...how does this get determined?

The spot vs on-demand depends on the spotmarket from AWS and the priority that you choose when you run the job.
According to the rate card, it really seems you were running the Swiss Army Knife on-demand. I usually set up the priority of my jobs in GUI of the app. For SAK, it would be:
So theoretically here, it could happen that you run Default - which is Normal, i.e. prefer Spot, but if Spot instance is not available at that moment, select High - on-demand.
