How can we download the "return" associated with a publication?

Hi everyone,   My apologies if this is not the most suitable place for this question. If it isn't, and you know a better option, please let me know.   We intend to build upon a previously-published analysis that used the UK Biobank (UKB) data. Since we want to make sure we match the same phenotype variables they used out of the vast number available, we asked them about it. They suggested we use the code they deposited on the UKB "repository" upon publication.   I've been browsing the AMS, and I've located their publication, which I see has two "return" entries associated with it. These, however, don't seem to include any link for us to download the corresponding files, despite them mentioning their size.   How can we access such files? Should the links appear there but perhaps we cannot see them due to permissions? Or are those available elsewhere?   Cheers, Fran

From UKB Showcase, the Return of Results in Showcase have to be fetch using the ukblink. See the documentation here. https://biobank.ctsu.ox.ac.uk/~bbdatan/Accessing_UKB_data_v2.3.pdf

We are aware that this is quite some work, so we are working on making Return of Results available on RAP. This would take some time, so you may have to try to get that from Showcase for now.

  • It is not in the main dataset right? even we download the main dataset from UKB, I think those return fields are not included.

Yes, return of results is not part of the main dataset.
