Hello guys:
Any idea of the best way to select a cancer-free cohort to compare with cancer patients? I have tried different terms (e.g., non-cancer, cancer-free, etc.) but no good options for any of these.
I'm not aware of a way to query collective disease like this. You may need to use Jupyternotebook to query all entry with cancer and use cohort subtract to get only non-cancer group.
B) By applying multiple filters for the specific ICD10 codes:
This lowered down my initial dataset size and I could save it by clicking on the small "floppy disk" icon.
C) Deriving complementary cancer-free cohort to be compared with cancer patients --> I just clicked on Not in "Untitled Cohort"
and my cohorts could be compared.
Not sure if this helps. This is just a possible graphical way how to interact with (a subset of?) cancer data. However as Chai said, JupyterLab would be a way better option for more advanced queries and cohort definitions.

I tried to apply a couple of filters in Cohort Browser, based on ICD10 codes, e.g.:
A) Search for NOT NULL items in Field Type of cancer: ICD10 (https://biobank.ctsu.ox.ac.uk/crystal/field.cgi?id=40006):
C) Deriving complementary cancer-free cohort to be compared with cancer patients --> I just clicked on Not in "Untitled Cohort"
