DNAnexus just took £2000 from my credit card account! Answered
I was trying to set up billing with my credit card but each time it said the details didn't match my bank (even though the details were fine) and the setup failed.
I happened to check my banking app and I found there were 8 pending payments to DNA nexus for £250 each!!
So every time I tried and failed to set up the billing, I was in fact being debited £250 without even being informed. I don't in fact owe them any money because there has been no activity since the original £40 was depleted.
So if you have trouble setting up the billing I strongly recommend you check your credit card account to make sure DNAnexus is not making unauthorised deductions.

We have spoken directly to DNAnexus regarding your issue. To provide reassurance, we can confirm that no payments have been taken as a result of the failed credit card transactions. The entries you see are pre-authorisation transactions which will automatically rollback but please accept our apologies for the confusion and poor experience.
