Availability of return on UKB-RAP
When UKB switch to the UKB-RAP, they had not solved the issue of returned data with the subject IDs. They had hoped to do that over the summer, but I have not seen any announcements about that. Is there any update about when return data will be available via UKB-RAP?

Dear Bruce,
Thanks for your post.
We are developing a system which will enable researchers to request returns and access them in UKB-RAP.
We will notify all researchers when this is ready and we expect to make this announcement in early 2025.
Kind regards,
Matt
Matt:
Thanks for responding. The question is where or not it is possible for the UKBB to provide a key so we can convert the IDs used by the return team who created the data (CNV calls) to the IDs for our project. We have been waiting months for this update to UKB-RAP. Previously, the promise was that it would occur in the late summer. Our research is halted due to this issue.

Matt H Hi Matt is there an updated timeline for returns data? A lot of research seems to be impacted by the non-availability of returns data, especially time sensitive PhD projects.
Dear Steven,
Thanks for your post.
Recently UK Biobank has prioritised supporting researchers transitioning to the UKB-RAP through providing researcher training, financial support schemes, and similar activities.
We are now turning our attention to the new mechanism through which we can make returns available to access within the UKB-RAP and will provide the researcher community with an update in due course.
Kind regards,
Matt
