assessment centre lat longs

Hi,

How do we convert the gridx and gridy for the assessment centre location into a latitude and longitude?

Also, there is an Altringham but no Stockport (pilot) - id this mis-lablled?

    Hi Philip,

You can reproject geocoordinates into a different coordinate reference system by reading them into a GIS software package, or statistical software such as R with a geospatial package loaded. You will then need to transform the coordinates from British National Grid projection to unprojected lat-long, using the tools available in your GIS system. Many packages will identify coordinate reference systems by EPSG codes; British National Grid is EPSG 27700 and lat-long is EPSG 4326. Further information can be found in Showcase resource 118122.

Altrincham centre was the same as the Stockport pilot centre - many thanks for flagging the different labels. We'll aim to revise the description in the resource so that it aligns with the data-coding.
