Inquiries about author lists

Dear researches,

May I ask whether the authors of the article should be included in the ranks of project collaborators?  If not, which authors must join the ranks of collaborators? Does PI have to be a co-corresponding author or co-first author?

    Dear Manting Lin, 

    Thanks for your post on the UK Biobank Community Forum. 

    Any researcher who is accessing UK Biobank data must be named as a collaborator on the application in AMS. The PI does not necessarily need to be named as an author on a publication. However, if the application is a student application we do require the paper to be authored by the student.
