How to change payment institute when paying

I encountered an issue while attempting to complete the payment process on the UK Biobank. Specifically, on the "Payment details" page, I noticed that the option for "PI Institute will make payment" is locked and cannot be modified. We would like to pay from another institute. This has made it difficult for me to proceed with the payment as intended. How to resolve this issue?

    Dear Xin Ji, 

    Thanks for your post on the UK Biobank Community Forum. 

    We can only accept payment from the applicant institute. It is not possible to change the payment request to allow a collaborating institute or third party to make payment.

    Dear UKB Team,


    I have a related question. I am currently trying to pay the fee for a project extension. However, the name of my institute legally changed since the project start. As such, I am unable to pay from the PI institute as it no longer exists under the name registered with the biobank.


    How can I change this institute name? As far as i know, adding an extra institute on an application is registered as adding a collaborate institute and has an additional fee. Is it possible to change the PI's main institute to make a payment, while some collaborators are listed under the old name, or will this cause issues?
