FLAIR_brain vs T1w_brain image dimensions

Hi Fidel Alfaro Almagro,

We also had the following question from a researcher that had fallen between the cracks here:

“Could you please explain to me why for some individuals, FLAIR_brain has a different size to T1w_brain? My understanding was that FLAIR_brain was the product of transposing the FLAIR image to T1w space so I don’t see how this image could exist with alternative dimensions”

Any help would be gratefully received.

    The source of this issue has been identified as  “misallocating V2 FLAIRs to V1 T1ws”. No need for a follow up at the moment.
