MTA Registration After Application Approval - Question About DocuSign Process
I have a question regarding the MTA and DocuSign process for an already approved application.
Timeline & Current Situation
- Our application was approved on February 7, 2025
- After approval, we realized we hadn't registered MTA information, which is why our Payment tab isn't activated
- After noticing this issue, we added a contact person (institutional representative) to the MTA information section
- However, we haven't received any DocuSign email yet
Questions
- Should we simply wait for DocuSign emails to arrive, or is there another step we need to take?
- Do we need to create DocuSign accounts in advance, or will the system send emails with signing instructions first?
- Is there a specific waiting period for DocuSign emails after adding MTA contacts? How long does it typically take?
Any guidance from community members who have experienced a similar situation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your post on the UK Biobank Community Forum.
As you have added the MTA contact details we can proceed with distributing the MTA and payment request for you to process. These will be sent shortly and you will receive a message via AMS with further instructions.
You will not need to create a Docusign account as the Docusign email will contain a link that will allow you to view and sign the MTA.
