questionaire alcohol documentation is incorrect
The following two questions have identical participant counts, yet according to the documentation the first was asked to fewer people than the second. I suspect the correct cohort for both is ‘at least once or twice a week’

was collected from participants who indicated they drink alcohol more often than once or twice a week

collected from participants who indicated they drink alcohol more often than one to three times per month

Thank you for raising this issue on the UKB Community Forum.
We believe your interpretation to be correct; that is, the two questions were asked of participants who had responded to Data Field 1558 with a response indicating ‘at least once or twice a week’. The UKB team will update the descriptions of these alcohol-related questions ahead of the next Showcase refresh.
