Diagnostic issue: When I wanted to establish a merged cohort for AN+BN, I used the 1712 field for the self-report part, but this diagnosis includes all “ eating disorder” patients. How can I exclude other eating disorder patients? I still can't figure it out, and it seems I can only combine all “Non-cancer codes”instances (0-3) and all arrays for diagnoses?

    Hi Yun He, thank you for your question. The first occurrence fields only contain 3-digit ICD10 information and lack granular details. It would be better to remove it and use individual data sources (i.e. gp, self-report, death and hospital inpatient) instead.
