Interactive Visualization with Papaya

In the YouTube video "Image Analysis on the UK Biobank Research Analysis Platform", minute 20:30 introduces us to the Papaya viewer, and the audio instructs us to ask questions on community.dnanexus.com in order to learn more about it. I cannot find existing questions about it on this forum. Can anyone provide more details on how to use the Papaya viewer on UKB RAP for interactive visualization? Thank you!

    Hi Meghana and Maddalena,

We have recently included a 3D Slicer image visualisation tool in the RAP tool library. Here's a link to the article describing how to use it:

If there are use cases you are struggling to cover using the new tool, please let us know.

Hi, I'm also interested in using the Papaya viewer on the RAP for interactive visualisation. Can anyone outline the main steps to get it running? Thanks!

    Hi Maddalena,

This should be a case of:

    1. running a ttyd instance on UKB RAP
    2. downloading and installing the mango papaya code. Instructions on how to build are on the papaya GitHub.
    3. loading images for viewing using the dx toolkit.

I should say that this manual set up will need repeating each time you load a ttyd instance so this method may not be the most convenient on a regular basis.
