More information about GPU on UKB RAP
Hi, where can I find more information about GPU on RAP (i.e. vram, number of GPUs per node, type of GPU)? I'm trying to do a deep learning project on MRI images on RAP and would like to see how feasible it is. I heard that insufficient number of GPUs can also be a reason to apply for RAP exemption. With the exemption, does it mean I can download brain MRI data to my school cluster and run my pipeline from there. What is the process to apply for such exemption?

Hi Trang Minh Nguyen,
Thanks for your question! Further information about working within the UK Biobank Research Analysis Platform (UKB-RAP), including details on usage costs and the RAP rate card, can be found in the Managing Usage and Storage CostsĀ guide (https://dnanexus.gitbook.io/uk-biobank-rap/administrator/managing-usage-and-storage-costs).
If you believe your analyses may not be feasible within the RAP environment, please consult our Data Access Exemption Policy (https://community.ukbiobank.ac.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/23418486279325-Applying-for-a-data-access-exemption). This outlines the criteria for exemption and the process for submitting a request to the UK Biobank Access Committee.
