What does 'data-only' in student tier precisely entail ?
Dear all,
I am a PhD student currently preparing an application for student-tier acces to the UK-Biobank. I am a bit confused by what ‘data-only’ means with respect to the student tier in this case. Is access to all the large scale assays (e.g. proteomics) included in the student tier? Or is it limited to similar access as tier 1-2 ?
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Thijs

Hi Thijs Dormans,
Thank you for your message.
Student-tier projects can access all available data on the UK Biobank Research Analysis Platform (RAP). The "data-only" title simply means that the project does not involve sample access, only access to the data via the RAP environment.
