Olink proteomics data percentage below limit of detection
I am interested in knowing whether any of the NPX values in the final dataset are below the limit of detection for that protein in the Olink proteomics data of the UKB, so that I can take this uncertainty into account in my analyses. I cannot find data about this, is there information about this available somewhere? Thanks a lot!

Hello,
I have edited this post as it was wrong previously. I believe that the limit of detection is a value calculated from controls below which NPX values are less precise. Even if a protein level is truly unquantifiably low an NPX value will be calculated. Missing values have been set to missing for a range of other reasons.
Best,
Mike
Thanks a lot! It seems like only a part of values below LOD are set to NA. I was referred to this resource in case helpful for anyone else:
This resource has the limit of detection for every protein assay on every plate: https://biobank.ctsu.ox.ac.uk/showcase/refer.cgi?id=1017
Thanks, that is really helpful.
