3D slicer loading nii.gz wrong

I have some segmentations stored in nii.gz format. When I load them into 3D slicer as “Data” (the green option) and choose “segmentation” they do not load correctly. When I gunzip the file and then load it into 3D slicer, it loads correctly. Does anyone know why the gzipped format does not load correctly?

When loading the nii.gz files, the segmentation appears as pixel areas outside the actual scan in a grid formation of 1 pixel, 1 space, 1 pixel.

    Hi Astrid,

    We are struggling to replicate this problem using UKB files. Please could you provide more information about what type of files you are using and whether these are the ones UKB provided?
