I have completed my training, so why can’t I access the UKB-RAP?

Ensuring Your Project Is Accessible on the UKB‑RAP

To make sure your project can be accessed on the UK Biobank Research Analysis Platform (UKB‑RAP), please ensure all the following requirements have been completed:

1. Complete all mandatory training

The Principal Investigator (PI) and all Lead Collaborators must have completed all mandatory training modules. Further information on these modules can be found here.

The completion date for each module must be visible on every collaborator’s AMS profile.

2. Date of Birth

Please also ensure your date of birth is added to your AMS profile.

3. Ensure the latest MTA is fully signed

The most recent Material Transfer Agreement must be signed and executed for the project.

3. Confirm project payment has been received

Payment must have been received in full and match the data‑tier requested for access on the UKB‑RAP.

4. Check your project status in AMS

Your project must show a status of “Underway” in AMS.
Projects that are approved but not yet marked as “Underway” are not enabled for UKB‑RAP access.
