Will User-Generated Files Be Automatically Filtered for Withdrawals?

Researchers have asked whether user-generated files are automatically filtered to exclude withdrawn participants. The answer is no; these files are not automatically filtered. To ensure compliance, researchers must manually apply the withdrawal filter before using the data.

How to Apply the Withdrawal Filter

To download the latest withdrawal list and apply it to your dataset, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to AMS Ensure you are signed in as the Principal Investigator (PI) or an approved delegate.
2. Navigate to Your Project
   • Select Projects
   • Click View/Update next to your active project
3. Access the Data Section
   • Select the Data tab
   • Click Go to Showcase
4. Download the Withdrawal List
   • Select your Application
   • Click NNN withdrawals
   • Click Download withdrawals

Once downloaded, you can use this list to filter out withdrawn participants from your user-generated files.
