Does anyone know how to access to returned data (i.e. UKB urban morphometric platform)? as a student researcher accessing all data via RAP

Hello, i am a student researcher (tier 3 access to all data via the UKB Research Analysis Platform (RAP) and don't have MD5 Checksum and password. I would like to access individual-level built environment data returned by UKB urban morphometric platform, but i did not see this data category in RAP dataset. How can i access to this returned data and match to participant data in my RAP?   I have searched online but could not find any clear information to answer this.   Thank you very much!

Please ask the Principal Investigator of the Student-tier project to send a request to access@ukbiobank.ac.uk.

This email should include the Return ID of the returned data you are requesting. Please also specify clearly which collaborators on the project will need access (the default is to provide access only for the Principal Investigator to download the data). The data will then be provided via Box, as per this post.

The ukbump data can be found on showcase by searching for 38006 in the search, and consists of 10 folders.

image.pngIf you need all ten locations, then please list all ten return IDs.

Thank you very much Dr. Rachael W  ! This is very helpful. Appreciated it.

In addition, could I ask another quick question? The returned datasets (i.e. UKBUMP) are identified by ID numbers (given on the UKB Showcase) and originate with specific Applications. In order to make use of such information, a researcher would need to bridge/link the participant-IDs in the returned data to those of the current Application. So that the returned data such as built environment data is linked to individual participant.

I am wondering if we would be able to realize this function ( bridge/link the participant-IDs in the returned data to those of our current Application) via Box directly by Data Analysis Team, just like other researchers who have access to download the data.

    Thank you very much!

Researchers who access the Returned datasets via a basket are provided with a Bridge file to relate the EIDs of their application to the EIDs of the Returning application. Student-tier Researchers who access the Returned datasets via a Box download will either be provided with a Bridge file or be provided with EIDs in the data files that have already been re-badged for their own application. Both of these methods have been used in the past, and I am not entirely sure which will be used in your case, but an email communication should make it clear for you.
