I performed the dispensing dataset a few weeks ago, before the dispensing dataset issue arose. I believe the dispensing option restarted automatically afterward for the project I have performed this step before recently. Is there a way to stop this?

There is no option to stop dispensal or refresh. Did you receive one of our target Email mentioning that you should remove this particular project? Those projects are pretty much in dead stage. There should be project id in E-mail, so you can check. If you aren't sure, feel free to send request to ukbiobank-support@dnanexus.com to check if this project should be removed.
I assume that you have already dispensed another project when the annoucement of 500k data come out. If not, I recommend that you dispense a new project now. You can still remove either old dispense project or new dispense project based on answer you got from support team.
Thank you I have created a new project and looks like only 3.5 PB of data is dispersed into it. I will maybe request for WGS data when plink or bgen formats are released.
