Downloading updated NMR metabolomic data

I recently encountered an issue while trying to update my project to access the NMR metabolomics data for the expanded cohort (phase 2). I downloaded the initial metabolomic data on June 29th containing 118k participants, and my understanding is that the updated dataset should now include NMR data for approximately 300k participants.   I attempted to update my project following the instructions provided in the documentation: https://dnanexus.gitbook.io/uk-biobank-rap/getting-started/updating-dispensed-data#cohort-rebasing   When I navigate to my project setting I see this: [Image: image]   Instead of this: [Image: image]   Is project updated? Did I miss a step? Thank you for the help!

The phase 2 metabolomics data reached the Showcase database early in July 2023, but it is still in the pipeline for the RAP.

I would expect it to be available on the RAP by mid-August, probably quite a bit earlier. DNAnexus staff might have a better estimate. (Each time there is a major refresh, the pipeline is refined and the process generally gets quicker.)

The RAP Data Release Versions page shows when the latest RAP refresh occurred, https://dnanexus.gitbook.io/uk-biobank-rap/getting-started/data-release-versions

If you really want the data in a hurry, you could request it in a basket via AMS, and then upload it to your project storage on the RAP. This would probably take about a week (baskets need to be approved and then generated), and you might find that it appears in the main RAP storage before the basket is ready. On the other hand, once the main RAP storage has the data, several projects are likely to request refreshes within a few days, so there may be a RAP dispense queue, which can make the dispense take a few days.

I'm not sure why you don't see a "check for updates" button. It may be because your latest dispense is so recent, or it may be a permissions issue. Do you have Admin Access for the project? If you still don't have a "check for updates" button once the Data Release Versions page shows that a July/August refresh has happened, please ask each member of your project to try it, check who has what permissions set, and post again.
