Aliquot size
Does anyone know what the aliquot size for the requestable samples? (Both serum and urine) I can't see this in either the sample release policy, the sample request form (pmg103_b) or the companion to serum biomarkers document.

Different sample projects receive different aliquot sizes, as discussed with the research group during their sample application process.
The samples are precious, so the smallest possible amount that will be sufficient to produce good results is sent.
The original samples were divided before freezing, and they are usually further divided when a portion is taken for a sample project.
If you are writing a new sample application, I suggest you estimate what would be needed, and expect to provide justification at a later stage.
