missing blood pressure

Is there any info on why ~6% of participants have a missing blood pressure?

The description for Category 100011 Blood pressure says “Two blood pressure measurements were performed on each individual, using automated (the default option) or manual devices.”   The manual results are in Field 94, visible in Showcase via the Related Fields tab from Field 4079.

I can't find any description of why some measurements were done manually.    The associated Resource 100225 does not specify.   I assume it relates to availability of the automated devices rather than to anything about specific participants.

Looking at both arrays for both fields (94 and 4079), there are only 1323 (0.26%) participants who have no diastolic blood pressure record at instance 0.
