Genetic ancestry as shown in the UKB variant allele frequency browser
I am currently working on analyzing genetic data from a cohort of UK Biobank participants and am looking to retrieve the genetic ancestry of my participants. Specifically, I would like the stratification of the cohort's ancestry to align with what is displayed in the UKB variant allele browser (https://afb.ukbiobank.ac.uk).
I assume that the data in the browser may have been generated from the work described in the pre-print manuscript "Whole-genome sequencing of half-a-million UK Biobank participants". However, I have not been able to locate the relevant methods or any specific UK Biobank Resource Access Program (UKB-RAP) data fields that would allow me to generate the same ancestry classifications.
Could anyone please advise on the best approach to retrieve this data? Alternatively, if there are any resources or suggestions to obtain the desired results, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you!

UK Biobank does not currently hold the genetic ancestry results referred to in the allele frequency browser. We will be contacting the research group to ask for that data. Two other research groups have returned genetic ancestry results, and it is likely that at least one set will be made available. However, we do not have a timeline for when this might be provided. Any planned additions to the UKB dataset are listed in the Future Timelines page at https://www.ukbiobank.ac.uk/enable-your-research/about-our-data/future-data-release-timelines . In the meantime, we suggest contacting the authors of the publication https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2023.12.06.23299426v1.full-text for details of their code or methods used so that you could reproduce their data.
