Fewer participants after using Table Exporter than in Biobank Showcase
Hi,
After exporting my data and starting to wrangle it in the RAP, I have noticed that the item count for individuals with cortical and subcortical volume data is much less than as outlined in the Biobank Showcase.
For some reason, for my cortical regions, before I do anything with the data, I have 46,373 participants and for subcortical I have 46,361. This isn't correct as according to the Biobank showcase I should have 62,797 and 62,785 participants respectively.
I'm wondering if there is a logical explanation for this, because obviously I need to make sure I have the right participants in my analysis.

Hi Sasha,
updates to the UKB data become visible in UKB Showcase before they become available in UKB-RAP. The delay is due to our processes, and is usually only a few weeks. However, because of the change to UKB-RAP-by-default, the UKB-RAP update that was planned for Q2 2024 has been delayed. It is currently expected to happen in Q1 2025. Until then, the UKB-RAP main copy remains at UKB-RAP Version 18.1, see https://dnanexus.gitbook.io/uk-biobank-rap/getting-started/data-structure/data-release-versions .
The data in your project storage will be the same version that was in the main UKB-RAP copy at the time your project was created and dispensed, so either Version 18.1 or an earlier version.
Field 26606 Volume of Cortical-nucleus (left hemisphere) was updated in Showcase in March 2024, see the field Version date. The most recently updated data is not yet available on the UKB-RAP. After the next UKB-RAP update happens, please create a new UKB-RAP project to receive the latest data.
