R studio trial? Will we have to buy a license for this at some point?
Can I just ask if anyone knows whether at any point the individual project researchers will have to buy a license for this/there will need to be a license per project?) (I know R is usually license free but not sure what happens when integrated into a commercial platform). It's just that the word trial makes me feel nervous that at some point usage will be cut off. Any thoughts most appreciated.

Hi Andrea,
When RStudio was first introduced on the UKB-RAP it was on a trial basis. That trial was considered successful, and RStudio is now a standard feature. I apologise for the confusion.
It is possible to use an RStudio instance on the UKB-RAP, and it is also possible to use R (but not RStudio) within a standard JupyterLab instance on the UKB-RAP. So, even if RStudio were removed at some point in the future, you could still run R scripts in JupyterLab.
