DNAnexus has reported some disruption to the UK Biobank Research Analysis Platform (UKB-RAP) due to an ongoing AWS outage. Some services may be unavailable.

Please visit status.dnanexus.com for the latest updates from DNAnexus, and you can also monitor AWS directly at health.aws.amazon.com/health/status.

All other UK Biobank platforms remain unaffected. We will post further updates here as they become available.

    The earlier disruption to the UK Biobank Research Analysis Platform (UKB-RAP) caused by the AWS outage has now been resolved. DNAnexus has confirmed that the platform is fully operational. DNAnexus Inc Status

    I'm seeing lots of problems, e.g. CloudWorkstation jobs that won't die, hanging file uploads, job status won't ‘resolve’ in the GUI etc.

    I'm also having issues closing a job with Posit Workbench (RStudio). I can't terminate it and it will eat my credits :(

    Hi Dr. Mc. Ninja  and Andres Lanzos  - thank you for posting, and sorry for the issues you're experiencing. We have escalated to DNAnexus and will post an update here once more information is available.

    I am also experiencing issues with the platform. A couple of JupyterLab with Spark clusters have failed mid-analysis. Please keep us updated when new information becomes available.

    The UKB-RAP is now fully operational again, and DNAnexus has confirmed that it is functioning normally since the recent AWS outage was resolved. 

    If you experienced issues with jobs not launching, sessions failing,  loss of credits as a result of yesterday's AWS outage - or if you are still experiencing issues and errors today, please contact DNAnexus support ukbiobank-support@dnanexus.com and they will investigate and assist you directly.
