This article guides you through how to register as a new UK Biobank researcher if you are intending to submit an application for access to UK Biobank data, including the requirements and documents you need, and how to verify your email address.
You do not need to register until you are ready to submit an application to use UK Biobank data in your research.

On the AMS home page follow the button to sign up to initiate your application process. When signing up, use a long term, non-institutional email address as a contact email address that we can contact you on, as your affiliations may change over time.
When you receive your email from us to validate your email address, continue to begin the application process.
Submitting an application
Select the type of application you wish to submit (Data only or Samples and Data). Continue to completion of the form and progress to the registration form.
