New Data Release on UKB-RAP: 200k WGS Phased Genomics Data, OMOP & Data Refreshes
The new UK Biobank data release is now available on the UK Biobank Research Analysis Platform. This release includes 200k WGS phased genomics data in BEAGLE and SHAPEIT, a version of tabular data transformed into the OMOP common data model, second phase data for 300k participants for the metabolomic biomarkers dataset by Nightingale Health, imaging data and more.
You can use the refresh feature on UKB-RAP to access the data in their projects. This refresh feature allows the researchers to use the existing projects with all the pipeline and logs without having to create a new project.
The UKB-RAP documentation has been updated with the release.

Dear Brenton,
thank you for sharing this update.
I was wondering whether you could comment on the following and/or let me know who to contact.
1) I am aware that the release of the full WGS data is scheduled for Q4 of this year. Is this still the timeline and could you comment on when in Q4 you expect this data to come?
2) In this full WGS release, will the phased 500k WGS data be included as well?
Very best
Alexander
@UK Biobank DA Team?
Hello:
I have refreshed my project (last refresh was Sep 11) and been able to access most fields for the second phase of the metabolomic data, but cannot locate a few, including 20281 Spectrometer-corrected alanine and 20282 Processing batch.
Are these available through the RAP? If not, will they be available soon?
Thank you!
The 500k WGS release is being processed according to the planned timeline and it is still expected to be released in Q4. We don't have a more precise estimate, but it is not likely to be before November.
It will not include any more Phased data.
Hi Natalie,
for fields 20280 to 20283, please see this announcement on the UKB website.
