Due to funding provided by Wellcome, access to the UKB-RAP is currently free, however there are fees (payable to the platform provider, DNAnexus) for storage of uploaded or derived data, compute, analysis (dependent on the type of virtual computer you choose to use for your analysis), and egress charges for data relating to summary results. The costs, which may change from time to time, are shown here.

All researchers are given £40 of credit when they join the UKB-RAP to contribute to compute and storage costs. Additionally, if you are an early career researcher, or you are based in a lower income country, then please use our Platform Credits Program and Global Researcher Access Fund. We are also seeking to extend funding to other researchers who need financial support during the transition to the UKB-RAP. Find out more information here.
