Public project with example WES data?

Dr. Mc. Ninja

Hi,

I'd like to practice analysing WES data while I wait for my application. Is there ‘sample’ / ‘example’ WES data that I can ‘play with’ linked to one of the public projects?

I looked at these two:

$ dx find projects --public | grep -i demo
project-BQbJpBj0bvygyQxgQ1800Jkk : Demo Data (VIEW)
project-BQfgzV80bZ46kf6pBGy00J38 : Exome Analysis Demo (VIEW)

but I couldn't find the `Bulk` directory or the equivalent directory structure that I need to learn in order to get and work with the WES data. Specifically, I want to try using regenie and plink to filter a short (ish) list of SNP calls in BGEN and ‘PLINK’ formats.

    Hi Dr. Mc. Ninja,

there is no UKB test project.  The UKB-RAP is the only UK Biobank item on the DNAnexus platform.  The “Bulk folder” must be specific to the UKB implementation.

A few researchers have asked about test projects and synthetic data.  The general concept is under discussion at UKB, but no decisions have been made and we do not have a timeline for it.

Thank you for using the forum.
