When will the UKB-RAP re-open?

  • Updated

We are planning a phased re-opening of the UKB-RAP from September, but the exact timeline for your access resuming depends on:

  • External experts providing assurance that the platform is secure. We are putting in controls that will stop any data from being downloaded from the platform without going through an airlock. Similar controls are being put in place to prevent upload from untrusted sources.

  • Obtaining approval to share health outcome data. Government departments and government bodies that provide health outcome data will need to be satisfied with the security of the UKB-RAP before we can re-open the platform.

  • Your project and your institution being fully compliant. Access will only be granted to researchers and institutes that are fully compliant in their obligations for mandatory training, annual reports, and data deletion for projects that have ended.
